Photographed yesterday afternoon. I was at first thinking this was a Ring Necked Duck, but, as I became more curious I feel I have the correct ID as a Lesser Scaup. There is a small pond near by that attracts them for the winter and now that it is rapidly warming up I am glad I took the time to document them before they migrate back north.

Thanks Beekeeper - it had a nice tonal range so I thought I would give the b@w a go. I like the color as well.
