I know this isn't a duck, but it is the best I could do at the moment.

I went to watch my friends' daughter play softball today. I have been following her since the age of ten. She is a sophomore in high school now. She hit a home run tonight but unfortunately, I had already put the camera away.

Recently, I retired my trusty 1DMKIII in an effort to downsize and just be a regular Joe. I couldn't pass up the sale B&H has going for the 60D at $479, so I bought one.

Today was my first opportunity to try it out using the 70-200 f/2.8 MK1. I will say this, the 60D is a far cry from the 1D3, but I managed to get a few shots through the backstop netting. It will take some practice to get used to 5FPS instead of 10 FPS!

Meagan pitched a great game, hit the home run and they won 3-2. That is the third one I have had the pleasure of watching fly over the fence. Her first one was when she was 12 and I was shooting her game at the Ronald McDonald Tournament in Houston (12U bracket).

Hope you like.
Mike
