The set up was xmas lights, a background light and a soft main. Shot with 5dm2 and 85mm 1.8

I went to a fabric store and got a bunch of scarf-like bits of different colored fabric and I think it really added to the atmosphere

Nice shots. I like the bokeh from the xmas lights. How much room did you have to work with? The few that I have done for friends have been in their homes with not much room to work with.

Luckily I have a ton of room at the house. They basically had an unlawful apartment free to shoot in. I had the xmas lights and I wasn't only was going to bring them out after I saw the location.
