Sigma 120-300S lens hood replacement

so my lens hood went over a cliff yesterday...and aside from learning how to rappel, i think i'm going to need a replacement. they are out of stock at sigma.com, and I can't find it anywhere else aside from maybe a couple spots in japan on ebay(i emailed them to make sure they have it) has anyone else had to deal with this, or does anyone know if there are any alternatives...my lens feels naked without it

I'm pretty sure you can modify a coffee can. would be about the same lol
