Didn't see thread in this regard so lets see what else is going to surprise me.
To start:

The Fastest lens ever built:

Carl Zeiss Super-Q-Gigantar 40mm f/0.33 - LINK (external link)
"The lens was given the name “Super-Q-Gigantar.” The “Q” stands for “Quatsch,” which translates to “nonsense” in German."

Don't ask me why, I can't explain it, but I want one and I am not comfortable with it.

Wow....
My saliva is dribbling already and its not even noon...:)

DavidR; You are totally the Winner.
That 6mm f/2.8 Fisheye-Nikkor is probably the most interesting working lens, ever built (Unlike the Ziess F0.3 I mentioned that is only a show off, possibly nonworking glass).
I was seriously following that 6mm lens and at one point questioned its real existence (Due to lack of being seen in person by anyone I knew) but no it is real and seems 3 has shown up in North America, the last in public display, on 60s in a Michigan camera shop, was stolen after breaking into premise at night, so that makes one less of this rare lens and I am not sure how many of these lenses were actually built, probably not more than a few handfuls. There was one on ebay that some ten years or more, back, I was so close to buy at $13K but wife vetoed it. I guess it is not less than 50K these days, if one can find a copy. Always a few shows up in Japan or Germany.

The Canon EF 1200mm f/5.6L would be right near the top of my list. It'd be actually usable in some situations, unlike the giant Zeiss 1700mm lens, which weighs nearly 600 lbs!

People using optical assemblies that far out weigh that every day... 600lbs isn't impossible to handle with the right setup, and I know a few photographers who would love have something like that mounted in a permanent blind.

Fair enough, I should rather have said that a 600lb SLR lens would be unusable for the vast MAJORITY of photographers......there certainly must be a use for the (apparently) single owner of such a device in the Middle East.

I guess you are referring to Leica 1600mm f/5.6 Telephoto Lens, made espcially and customized for Sheikh Saud Bin Mohammed Al-Thani of Qatar that somewhere I read to have paid 15 million dollars and in another place the price was quoted $2 million, but as we all know better, probably in real $ value of 15000... but the great thing is that the lens has a few human legs that move it, not sure even if the Prince knows how to shoot it:)
My great surpise is how come that Sultan of Brunei hasn't topped it off as he mostly do in such a occasions or may be that I am not aware of.

I was thinking of this one (but they're both probably about as impractical for most of us...) :)

Zeiss 1700mm lens.

OOPs, that didn't work. Let me try again...

At least this one in your link has an insignificant (Relative to lens) Medium format camera body.
I guess it only misses a German Zeppelin on the top to make its transport easier:)

120mm is mere child's play. Canon built one bigger. 5200mm.
