I have been a LR user for years and last year started using the CC subscription so I could have PS. I never bothered using LR via CC because I had a stand alone version. With the next version of LR coming up, I'll need to cutover which means I'll need to download via CC.

I'm sure others have cutover. Any issues? I have my catalog backed up, etc. Is it just a matter of downloading via CC, starting up and pointing to the catalog. It should look to the same preferences, plugin locations correct? I'm on Windows 7.

Yep, straight forward. Just install the CC version and you are off and running.

Same thing here. I had LR5 standalone & went over to CC last week. Totally seamless. Actually took about 30 seconds. ;-)a
