It's a bit of a long shot but does anyone know if the old protocol Sigma lenses will work with a Sony+adapter ?
I have an old Sigma (pre HSM) 500mm f/4.5 APO which will only work on the Canon DSLR with the aperture wide open, otherwise it locks up the camera.
If I knew that I was going to get more use out of that lens, it would make the Sony more tempting.
