I am wondering what would be a better strap when taking it out to festivals or out on wild life with my 5D Mark 3? I have been using the factory canon strap, but I am not sure what would be a better solution when taking pictures and more convenient to carry around along with my gear.
Update: Should I use a spider holster? I want to keep my gear to be safe away being robbed?

Cotton Carrier Vest by itself or with a Think Tank Speed Pro Belt (or Steroid Belt).

Not sure if its what you are asking for but I use a Sun sniper strap which is similar to the black rapid.

I love my Spiderholster - one of the best bits of gear i have bought.

The blackrapid straps are good too - but the weight is still on your shoulder and it gets tangled in your backpack straps.

I'm just asking what is a good strap. Or is it better to use a spider holster?

I'm trying out a CapturePro from Peak Design along with a ProPad as an alternative to the Blackrapid setup that I've been using for a while. I got fed up with the extra strap along with a backpack and the CapturePro seems to solve that. Seems pretty secure and has a system that gives a two stage release so the camera/lens needs 3 things to happen before its on the floor.

I was going to give Peak design strap a try. After receiving from Amazon, I just feel the "anchor" thingy feels just too weak. I really don't have confident on the tiny so called Kavlar string. Then I did some research on Peak design and found at least one user with anchor string failing and damaging cameras. The strap is return to Amazon at this point.

Also, I found there are a few failure report about the receptor size of the anchor failing. Not sure if PD has fixed this. Overall, my confident isn't high at this point.

The CapturePro attached to a belt or backpack strap doesn't involve an anchor link unless you want to add another strap of some kind. I'm trying to reduce straps so I'd only add a clutch or maybe some kind of backup strap.
I've had an op tech wrist strap which uses a string similar to the anchor link string for many years, used on a canon G3 and then when I've wanted to carry 2 dslr's. It shows no sign of wear.
