What bags do you guys use for the Sigma 150-600 C, or how do you carry it in the field? Holsters like the Lowepro Toploaders? Also wondering how many use blinds. Are the ready-made ones useful?

Tom i use the lowepro tracker II back pack takes my 7d II with 150-600 attached with easily enough room for another body and lenses and flash plus lots more even takes my tripod and monopod.

i use a lowepro flip side 15l aw backpack, i bought it used and its awesome,i set up the inside to fit the 70d and 150-600 and room for another lens and charger and such, tripod fits on the side,i think i paid 40 used for it,maybe less. its not to big. i have a clik elite backpack much bigger but it didn't configure for the huge lens so i use it with my mirror less stuff.

Thanks for reply. I am seriously considering the largest one, especially since I already have some Lowepro lens cases.

Thanks for reply. Looks comfortable and just about perfect for one camera with the Sigma but I want more capacity.

If you have time could you shoot th same shot with and without the TC.
Then crop the lens only shot up to what the TC shot looks like.
I did this with a 1.4TC on my old 100-400L and I found the cropped shot was just as good. But my focus speed and aperture were better without the TC.
I'm wondering how the Sigma TC stacks up.

Again, looking at the end results, it is clear we are getting much better results than we could with a TC on the old 100-400mm It simply did not take a TC very well. (the VII is another story!)

I am pretty sure that by the time i have removed the tc to retake the shot the bird will be long gone lol, My latest post in this section is uncropped and full of detail i can assure you i was not getting that much detail at 600 with a crop. Oh and by the way it will not work with your 7d ( Your sig) you will only have manual focus.
