[QUOTE=Immaculens;17560612]I did lots and lots of testing and trying different MFA's in my 70D. The Focus Adjustment in the Sigma Dock was quite intimidating when I saw it first! (and afterwards)

Thanks for tasking the time to write this, I believe many of us will do this exercise.
For me fiddling with my equipment is half the fun, so when the weather is better I go and shoot lots of more images.

i'm thinking of setting it up a tripod and shoot a distance (license plate or something).
than go MFA from -20 till +20 and check in lightroom what is best.
That way I can test for further distances.

Anyway keep on shooting mate ! :-)

Regards Antwan

Some interesting comparative test samples of our lens vs others done by Bryan

http://www.the-digital-picture.com …News-Post.aspx?News=15100 (external link)

Our lens blows away the Sigma 150-500 OS - but then all the others do to ;-)a

Looks like of the two Sport copies tested - our lens is sharper until 500-600. That is where $1000 extra gets you fractionally better IQ and armoured plating

And the Tamron really shines at 400mm vs ours.

Ours vs the 100-400L IS II and the 600L f/4 IS is fun to see :-P

and I don't think I posted the kids

This seemed a nice, sharp, clean image from this morning's stroll around the lake

I love this lens. I use this lens probably 90% of any shooting I do. I find ways to use it. I probably dont need to but I like it so much I make every excuse to use it every time I can
