One thing I noticed with the R5 is that it seems to require a higher shutter speed when using the Eye-AF. With my 5D IV, I'd be able to get well focused shots like the above with the shutter speed of 1/800 comfortably, using the spot AF point. With the same setting in R5 in Eye-AF, I suddenly noticed a lot of OOF shots, so now I'm shooting the R5 at 1/1250sec. I haven't had a chance to shoot much lately since the discovery, so I'd need to confirm my own findings with further tests.

Well with PEOPLE EYE autofocus, l've been shooting portraits for months now at 1/250th. Obviously not with this lens so that is why I felt the issue was specific to this Sigma lens.
