Hello all "C" user. Since this lens has been out for awhile now, was wondering what method most of you are using to MFA your lens. That is, are you using in camera MFA or using the dock to MFA. Also, do you find any correlation between in camera settings and dock settings. E.g., would -10 mfa at 600mm be equivalent to a -10 setting using the dock. Seems like quite a process to go through to use the dock settings. Currently I have just been using the in camera MFA settings, which seem to be pretty good at the long and short end. Thanks for any additional information on this process.:-)

my 1D3 I was at -9 with the lens. now with my 7D2 I am at -3
I have never used the dock for AF adjustment. I have only used the dock to setup my OS settings and the focus speeds on the custom switch

What these for Mommie?

I was reluctant to re-dial-in my lens but -10 from 9 seems a wise move, I have a bit more detail.
Next stop is 'maybe' trying -11...

Great shot Will.

Thank-you Mark ~
After watching waterfowl and animal behaviours for some time, we start anticipating a shot with our finger on the shutter :-P
