You can definitely taste the coconut but it is not overwhelming at all. I toasted the coconut to remove the oils and then racked the porter into a secondary for about a week. Bottle and let condition for about 6 weeks.

A favorite of my friends that does not stay around very long.

Agreed. I always look forward to getting the traditional lager on draft when I'm on the east coast. I thinks it's one of the best old school American lagers.
