I tried using the lighting techniques shown from the free "Beer Photography & Retouching With Rob Grimm" course linked above. This is my first try and I used three lights. One using a 7" reflector shooting through a sheet of tracing paper background, the 2nd a strip light behind and to the right of the glass for a highlight running the length of the glass and a 3rd light shot from above and in front of the glass to light the label and head of the beer.
