I just discovered this Reserve Collection Copper Lager made by Budweiser in collaboration with Jim Beam.

I give it a big thumbs-up! ♥

Gene,

That is a beautiful image.
I has a "punch" or "pop" to it.
Love the color of the beer itself.

Your watermarks are clever as well.
I like this one, with it seemingly molded into the glass.
Smart stuff!

Thanks Mark. The beer does have a beautiful copper color. The photo was taken with no flash, just the natural light coming from the room behind me and the bar lights behind the beer.

I always enjoy trying to incorporate my sig into an image somewhere whenever I can.

Here's a recent pair of images I shot of a local beer. Trying to capture the feeling of summer in Texas. Cheers!

First attempt at some Beer Photos.

Just a rookie here (food photography wise) but I would have liked those strip box reflections on the edge of the glass. Also irregular condensation above beer head is distracting. I am just saying this as I have seen your shots over the years and I always admire them.

I concur on both! This was my very first attempt at something like this, and I have definitely learned from my faults. I have done a few other photos with glasses/bottles with a bit better outcome.

Watching that free class youtube videos. Question - Did he put matte finish on the back side of the bottle only and then clear finish on front of it?
