So... for those of you who follow the tv show, "The Bachelor," this is kind of cool. Kelsey is the sister of my wife's friend. She went for a walk with us, walked our dog, and I took some photos for her to use for her blog and possibly an US Weekly interview!

For the record, his name is Maximus Decimus Meridius and he is a 4yr old American Akita.

Yes, they credited me with the photos, but I am more excited that our dog is in them. lol

Here is the link to her blog post. I will post the US Weekly link if they go through with the interview.

Here are a couple of the other photos that she didn't use yet.

I thought the eyes looked a little odd in this one so I zoomed way in and they look fine. I guess she is just kind of a squinty person? lol

How cool. Good for you.

Good-looking shots. The light on the subjects is very nice. Can't tell if you used any additional lighting, or if it's just from an overcast sky.

Thanks! I was struggling to get the exposure right with my flash that day for some reason. It was pretty gloomy with clouds moving in and out.

He is a bear! He likes to swat at me with is paws when we get to playing and I'm trying to keep his toy from him! He's given me a couple bloody noses and fat lips from swinging his giant head around and smacking me by accident. My fault of course! lol

Nice. I have a 105 lb Golden with freakishly large paws. He likes smacking me around with 'em, too.

Max must have a great temperament. Our friends raise Akitas, and they are Very protective of her.

Hes pretty friendly. They need to be socialized. We bring him everywhere, even inside stores and the mall. He also goes to doggy daycare once a week to play w a pack of 30 dogs and socialize. Im guessing she didnt socialize them much. They probably just have each other.

No. Shes pretty normal, but I can see why other girls may not like her. She's so nice, like overly nice, and talks so soft and with that tone to her voice that sounds fake. But thats just her. Throw that into a house full of women who are all after the same thing and shes gonna get eaten up. They did a good job of making her look crazy for sure tho.
