This shot isn't that spectacular. But the quiet tranquility and silence of a beautiful predawn morning of a ridge covered in Elk is magical to me. For the most part, this is one animal I could probably photograph full time and be content with it.

Isn't that spectacular huh. -?.

This is an amazing shot that anyone would be honoured to call their own. Love the sky, the silhouette, the comp. It is just perfect. Doesn't get much more majestic than Elk, and you sure did them justice here.

I love silhouette shots like this, Stacy. The fact that you got so many individuals skylined at one time is quite favorable.

I especially like the way the 4th elk from the right has her head up, is not truncated*, and is isolated, not overlapping with any other elk.....she kind of "anchors the composition" for me.

*truncated = legs "cut off" by horizon

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
