What do you guys think? I think it is a bit too cropped on the right side. Does it take away from the photo? What about the right eye? should it be totally covered by the hoodie?

I think I'd like to see all of that eye or none of it, but it's a matter of taste. Nice shot.

Nice result - lighting from below is a hard style to pull off. For mine, the crop is too tight, and I agree that the right eye should be in or out, not halfway.

Cheers, Damien

Nice capture and good lighting, I am inclined to agree about the eye either all of it showing or none.

Agree on the partial eye. It's distracting.

Quick impression, just about lighting. Not as arresting as the first image in the OP. Of these 2, I like the first more - the eye detail in the darkened side of the face is interesting, as is the angled presentation (pose). The second one suffers from not showing the eye, but having some details lit - for mine, the second would be better if you just used 90 degree lighting from the side, so that you end up with one side in light, one side dark, and a symmetrical shadow line (cliched, I know).

Cheers, Damien
