I couldn't find a thread on this so let me know if it already exists.

I know I can't be the only one who has had a client ask them to imitate a famous painting, photo, or movie scene! So post yours!

I think it would be beneficial to post the painting/photo being imitated next to your attempt at it or at least a link. I think it would be fine as long as you credit the original artist.

So...I'll start!
Here is my attempt at American Gothic ,by Grant Wood, for some clients. This was just a random idea during an engagement session for these two girls at a farm. They wanted it to look old as well. They were pretty happy with it, but as usual, I find it just okay.

Oh nice! I used to take my TJ up there! I live in Allendale. Work for Engineered Diesel maintaining the site, marketing, photog, etc. You may see some Diesels up there with our window stickers on them!

Not a direct copy of any particular painting, but I do have fun trying for sort of a Norman Rockwell effect on occasion.
