I have seen some strobes that have batteries that slide in the back of the unit. Thing is I can't remember what name they were or where I seen them. I have googled and searched and had no luck. Anyone have any suggestions?

I think you mean "Jinbei HD-II 600" The FlashPoint mount version of this unit right doesn't seem to have discount, about $600, while the Bowen mount is about $100 cheaper, weird!!!
