My fav is usually the latest one I've purchased but my fav of all time has to be the 100-400 V2. Just a superbly versatile and quality piece of kit.

To date, the 135F2 has been most pleasurable, however I'm loving the Zeiss 100 MP. So versatile (portraits, macro, landscapes).

50L both old and new have been great, however changing things up to slightly wider and smaller.

One just came up on the BST. Now you have me really thinking. Man... sometimes I'm filled with self loathing for popping into these threads. ;-)a

the 35 perspective when you frame a shot just right is awesome.

Nikon D850 and a bunch of stuff, I have learned a lot here when I was shooting Canon, staying to keep learning..."Every time I set up I learn something new".

My favorite lens has to be the Rokinon 14mm f/2.8, because it is the most fun to play with. It is followed closely by the Sigma 15mm FE.

Just ordered the Sigma today should have by Wednesday really looking forward to putting a spin on my perspective.

For the longest time it was my Sigma 50-500.... but of late the Sigma 150mm f/2.8 has been pushing hard to replace it.

Since you asked "what is your favorite lens", not "what is you favorite Canon lens", I will answer an 85mm F 1.5 Summarex. I may own this again, now that it can be easily adapted to a Sony A7 type body. My all time favorite portrait lens.

"I'm going all primes!"

Oh good! More lenses to carry and a larger bag to buy. LOTS MORE STUFF IN THE FIELD. Then there are the shots missed while changing lenses or because - in an effort to lighten the load or simplify your vision - you left the one lens you need at home. Yeah, all primes is a good idea.

I remember when zooms were bad no serious photographer would be caught dead with one. I shot weddings with a Pentax 67 and a single (105mm) lens to avoid changing lenses because I didn't want to slow down. I am grateful for that discipline but also for modern zooms that let me go into the field with just 2 or 3 lenses and still get good IQ.

I know folks will disagree. That's fine. Just giving my perspective for you consideration.

My current favorite lenses: Canon EFs 10-22 and Canon 100mm 2.8 Macro (non L).

Canon 7d MkII, Canon 50D, Pentax 67, Canon 30D, Baker Custom 4x5, Canon EF 24-104mm f4, Canon EF 100mm f2.8 Macro, Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5, 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC

Since I enjoy birding so much, I have to say my 100-400ii with and without the 1.4X. It's been a joy to use.

I do like my 15-85 for landscapes and my 100L macro as well, but they don't get as much use.

The only lens I own but haven't used much is the very fine 35 f/2 IS. I keep meaning to spend time with it but I just don't. Back in the film days, I really liked my 50mm photographs so I suspect I'd like the photographs from it as well.

In my dreams, I own a 500 f/4 II but I keep waking up.

For me it's the 35mm f2 IS. It's nice and light, has amazing IQ and I love the 35mm perspective! The 100L is a close runner up.
