I have a Mettle 600AD strobe, with the BP-1 battery pack. After I last used it, somehow the battery pack got switched back on, after putting it aside. It's been about a week and a half or so. No surprise, it's dead. So, I have turned to switch to the off position, and plugged it in to charge. Only, it won't charge. The light on the charging cord stays green, which is usually red when charging. I have tried taking the battery out of the pack, to charge it separately, but the same thing happens. I've had it plugged in for a few hours now, and the light is still green, but there is no power in the pack.

The only thing I haven't tried is another charging cord, as I don't have time right now to go get another one. I don't have anything else that the cord will fit, to test it, nor do I have another cord with the same size end to check with charging the battery pack.

So, anyone have any experience with this happening that can say something like, "Oh yeah, it just takes about 6 or 7 hours to show a charging level after going completely dead."? That would make me feel a lot better.

Aaaaand, as soon as I hit submit, I look over and it's charging. I guess it does take a few hours from dead to register that it is charging. :-D
