A Snail Kite Weekend

Last weekend I took some time to take some images of one of our endangered raptors. It was great seeing 2-3 nesting pairs of them in the small area we stayed.

All images are taken with 7D Mark II, 500mm f/4, and all handheld from a boat.

wow- really great shots- one of my favorite subjects. kind of jealous though since these are so good. I got some kite shots this week as well but instead of posting mine I'll enjoy these
