Took advantage of a beautiful day yesterday. Started by seeing an impressive heard of over 100 bull elk, some with up to 9"of new growth. Lighting wash harsh into the sun so I tried another angle only to never see them again. Then over a 100 head of antelope. Realizing after heading back to the main road I had broke my own cardinal rule of not attemting for one shot I saw this small group of doe's. While taking this shot, not pictured was a huge 6 point bull elk shed freshly dropped laying in front of them. Made the trip worth while. Not sure of this photo though.

It's always nice to see a herd of mulies. Now having an elk shed incorporated into the photo would have been pretty interesting. Something you don't see every day. I'm always impressed by the size of Idaho's sagebrush. I would have taken this photo for sure. Thanks for sharing.:-)

Wow, Stacy! Nine faces, and they are all looking at you at the same time......that is not easy to pull off! Very complimentary poses on each and every one of the nine deer.

I must say that the vegetation is lovely........a mixture of prairie grasses and sagebrush makes for some great mule deer habitat!

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
