Apr 15, 2015 17:19 | #4 Thanks very much folks. I have to admit that I'm quite apprehensive about posting in this forum because I can only identify a very limited number of birds. I guess I just have to keep at it. Sometimes not taking a photograph can be as problematic as taking one. - Alex Webb

I have to admit that I'm quite apprehensive about posting in this forum because I can only identify a very limited number of birds. I guess I just have to keep at it. I'm sure you'll find plenty of helpful folks here! I find with bird ID that it is often useful to get photos from any angle I can, since many times the important field marks might not be visible from any one angle. There have been many that I could not ID when I saw them, but when I brought the images up on the computer and referenced a field guide or two, I could confidently make the ID. Keep at it and have fun in the process! John Visit my Flickr site: https://www.flickr.com/photos/121865961@N02/albums
