Is it possible to "float" the aperture value when shooting with a non-CPU lens? More specifically, is there any way to change the written aperture value to something other than the max aperture value for a non-CPU lens besides changing the max aperture in the settings before taking each shot?. I know that you could technically change the exif data using exiftool, but that still requires you to write down the aperture setting used in every frame. I recall that when using a dandelion chip on a Canon body, the camera allows you to use the dials to manually select an aperture value which gets recorded to exif and was wondering if there is anything which would allow me to do the same on a pro-Nikon body.
