Looks like a facebook hotlink. POTN is not supporting that anymore.

How to focus your selfie:

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

PocketWizards on camera and lights, PW MiniTT1 hidden in my hand. For focusing, I use a lightstand placed on the same plane my eyes are going to be and focus manually.

I dislike photos of myself, but for website and business purposes I must have at least one, and what with copyright issues and all (photos belong to whoever presses the shutter even if it's not his camera) I have to take them myself.

There's another way. With a properly drafted work-for-hire agreement, you'd own the copyright.

PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa, more so (2 wds.), shoo-in | Comments welcome

yeah. copyright is not an issue at all.

back when i was buying more commercial photography than i produced, all RFQs went out with a few lines about exclusive rights belonging to the buyer.

What did you do, Harm? You killed this thread.

Funny. We went out yesterday to Longnook Beach in Massachusetts and took some selfies for the first time in years. I had to dust off the old Phottix Aion trigger and I have to say it was really unreliable. Then I found that the N3 connect broke inside the port. I read an Amazon review that said a 3rd party N3 cord works better, so I ordered one. I hope I can get the part that's stuck inside the port out.

So here's one of our first "selfies" in like 3 years.
