I am trying to get this picture creepy looking. What pic do you like best and how can I edit to make it better. Thanks!

I do have a picture where you see more of her face. Is this one to covered with hair?

I find the first one creepiest, I would add some dirt or stains to her clothing maybe in the form of little children hand prints (Blair Witch style). I may even whiten fully her eyes so as to look somewhat possessed. Also feel maybe you could darken everything around the girl a little and lighten her somewhat more (focused vignette) so she doesn't blend so much into the surroundings.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the feed back! How do I add dirt to her clothes? I work in LR but have a free trial of PS right now.

Download Some free grunge texture brushes from deviant art and then add to your presets folder in brushes. Select the brush and size along with the colour you wish to use in this case black. Paint the textures on a separate layer and adjust the opacity and blending modes to get something you like.

Yes better also download some fog/mist brushes and add a few strokes in the foreground...will create a more eerie atmosphere.

Go with more of a Sepia filter and add some torn parchment effects to it. Like this, except yours will be creepy. Also not quite as yellow as mine.

Or if you like to see people work on your image and show their verions, leave a link to a downloadable larger size image.

darkened background and lightened eyes ...better?

Not sure how you did this in LR, but if you didn't use the radial filter, I think it could be beneficial here for your vignette/background darkening - adjust with exposure slider and just check to be sure that the invert mask is not selected. Don't be afraid to move it around and change its shape to see what different effects it has on the image. To me the foreground branches are a little distracting being highlighted like they are. Also, some selective dodging/burning could work here too, I think.

Good luck!
