I took this picture when working on my series "child in the woods". I did not feel it fit the mood I was looking for but really like the way the picture turned out anyways. So it is not part of the series, but would love feedback on this picture please. (oh and she is not naked, she is wearing underwear :))

Good exposure of the child, and a very effective expression. The vignette looks a bit heavy handed to me, if it has been added in post.

Cheers, Damien

Thanks for the feed back. I will try backing off the vignette and see how it looks!

spookiest yet, just because it is the most plausible.

I really like her eye expression, it's very convincing. And the apple covering her mouth adds a nice element of mystery while accentuating the wild look in her eyes.

Love the photo!

but...

vignette is too heavy, I might try a pp with a bit more contrast to suit the scene.

Anyway jmo!

Checked out your "creepy" series and I actually think this might be the creepiest. Great expression.

I kinda disagree with the others though about the vignette, I like it. I'd even say actually adding more but also feathering it more might be better. Agree with "sounds" that a little more contrast, at least applied selectively on the wall, would add a better "feel". Great series.

OP, when I made my comment above about the vignette, I hadn't realised that this was one of a series of 'creepy' shots. Knowing that now, ignore my comment - the vignette works to help create atmosphere.

Cheers, Damien

Nailed it. I disagree about the vignetting being too heavy handed. To me it gives it a claustrophobic feeling that adds to the mood.

Thank you so much Ninjakix! I have left the picture with the heavy vignetting as I tried doing less and I thought it lost its feeling also.
