I'm not sure what you mean by MA, but the first looks a bit hot on the chest and a bit too much on the contrast. I think if you went the other way on contrast, then back off on the brightness it would bring out the dark shade in the eye area. If you mean micro adjust, I think they are both soft, jmho.

Thanks for the comments. Yes I meant Micro adjust. I am still playing around with that a bit. As to the chest being hot, It is, I should have turned that down a little more but I was more interested in getting comments on sharpness.

The house sparrow looks a bit soft but maybe that's because of a big crop? In the second image the flower's stamen look to be sharpest to me.

Thanks for the comments Brad, you might be right about the crop size, might have pushed that too much to make a good sharpness example.
