Which photo is best? Great Egret from this weekend

Can't decide if I like the dark vignette or the shot with only a slightly dark surrounding. Great looking bird trying to find a mate. Don't know why he has been unsuccessful so far as he has great plumage.

Manfrotto carbon fiber tripod, 2 monopods, Manfrotto ballhead and pistol grip tripod heads.

Great shot and, indeed a good looking bird. Maybe he just has a difficult personality - or bad breath. I prefer #1. The vignette helps draw you in but the more subtle one is better, in my opinion.

I like the first image the best because I like the more natural look. I'm not much of a fan of vignetting. Two nice shots Betty!

Fantastic capture! I think I like the 1st one the best but both are nice.

Beautiful shots Betty. I like both, they both have their merits.

If in doubt go for the most natural might be the best think though.
