Sir_Loin Senior Member More info | May 02, 2016 06:13 | #138 I had been sitting on the fence for a while pondering if I should buy the M3. Well I took the plunge last week and now I wonder why I waited so long! What a cracking little camera! It's very customisable and the image quality is quite superb and it's perfect for many subjects. No it doesn't track fast moving subjects very well (one of the most common complaints), but that's a ridiculous critism as its not designed for that! This is now my go to camera for travel and grabbing those priceless shots of my children. I got a good deal for the camera, 18-55mm, electronic viewfinder and EF-M to EF lens adapter which made buying it a lot easier! I tried to focus through the front door sidelight but it looks like I missed it a bit. The colors look great though. I'll see if I can get a better shot tomorrow without spooking it. Have been wanting to for a while. Today I noticed the price dropped another $50 so I caved. Mainly need it for casual shooting and lightweight situations. It's a pain carrying my 5D3 around my neck along with all the toddler gear etc. 5D3 / M3 / S100 / Σ 35 Art / 50 1.8 / 135 L / 17-40 L / 24-70 L / 70-200 f/4 IS L / m 22 2.0 / 580ex II
