Getting acclimated to the M3 characteristics. Enjoyed taking this shot in the rain. :)

Very nice, where is this little rural slice of Heaven? :-)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Paso Robles, CA along HWY 46 west side. Taken just to the right side of this building. The intermittent rain was great between the cloud breaks and it had hailed just moments before followed by the rainbow.

I should have known better than to look in this thread when I've been considering buying a M3 kit! The pictures posted here look gorgeous, thank you all for contributing to this thread and making me give in to my GAS. The M3 should make a good all-day carry and backup to my 7D2 and allow me to sell my T6s without regrets.

Bought the kit with the 18-55 lens and EF-M adapter, will get to try it out Thursday when we're in the State Capitol for testimony in front of the Appropriations Committee. Will put together a small bag with the M3 and kit lens, mount adapter and either my Sigma 30mm f/1.4 or maybe my 50-100mm f/1.8 along with spare batteries, should be much easier than lugging my full kit.

AF speed of Sigma 30/1.4 is very slow and it makes a lot of noise while focussing on M3 :(

Thanks for the heads up, I ended up bringing my 50-100mm f/1.8 but found it too long for the room the Appropriations Hearings are held in and stuck with the kit lens. So far I'm very happy with the quality of the pictures even with that lens, here's one I took earlier today of my best friend after she smelled something strange.

Recently purchased a new Kenko Teleplus 1.4x teleconverter intending to use it with my Sigma 150-600mm C on my 7D2, but unfortunately it was giving errors anytime I tried to AF except in live view.

So, I tried it on my M3 today, and the M3 was able to lock focus during my test without returning any errors. Guess I can use it for tripod mounted shots of static targets with my M3, can't wait for the next night with a clear view of the moon!

Photo of an Estus flask printed in green PETG for a customer of our 3D printing program. Very happy with the M3 and both the kit lens and 28mm Macro for photographing our work for social media and our website, have been using it instead of the company's Canon Powershot SX530 HS.

Joe, I read your letter to us and I am having the same problem with the Sigma 150-600 C lens and tele on a Canon 7d Mk2. (Isn't it sad for Sigma to leave Canon users by using F9 after mm with a 1.4 tele.) I did try the M3 with the tele 1.4 and Sigma lens and it work's well. Also the 2 Tele works well. Who would think that this works well. Thank you for your post. Joe M

Couple cool pictures captured with my M3 with Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 at the Capitol Building in Hartford, CT while there for the 2017 Disability Advocacy Day.

Here's something a little different: A picture of my new air rifle, a Hatsan 95 Vortex .22 cal, taken with my M3 and kit lens.
