There should be a law against photos like this my mouth is watering.

Sunsets don't draw me much but there are times that say, "take the picture!" We'd just finished a grocery run and noticed that the sunset was showing some nice colors. This particular market is located off of Pacific Coast Highway and from the parking lot the boat harbor is across the alleyway. By the time I got out of the parking lot over into the harbor the sun was down but the blue was coming on. Pulled the mini tripod and found a spot to snap away at. Even though it was marked "Reserved boat owners only", there were plenty of spots so felt a few minutes wouldn't displace anyone. Moved the car to another location and did a few more.

A 2 and 3 frame stitch. A long exposure would have been nice to get the streaking clouds and fuzzy water.

I'll be resurrecting this thread soon, I actually did now, I just ordered a new M3 for $299...I am pleased.

I've been happily using the M since October 2013, when I got the two-lens kit for also $299. Canon could not sell the Ms when it came out, and I too refused to get one since I had already delved into Mu43 and the M just was not appealing. Until the prices plummeted and got one...I loved it and got rid of all of the Mu43 gear.

Then Canon pulled the M out of the North American market, which did not stop me acquiring the M2. Still got the M2, still love it. I'm hoping the M3 will keep this love affair alive...

Strongly considering pre-ordering the new 32mm. I really like this system for a "compact" setup.

Not crazy about having 3 lens mounts though; EF, EF-M and FE...

Got the M3 the other day, and I got some learning to do. I'm very familiar with both the feature set and usage of both the M and M2. Some things got changed around on the 3, gotta teach this older mind the newer layout. Otherwise, the M3 seems fine, though I'm not thrilled with some of the plastic feel, and the mini grip will take some time getting use to.

The only native mount lens I own is the 22/2, but I also have the EF adapter and plenty of legacy glass: favorites beiing a Konica-Hex AR 40/1.8 pancake and a Konica-Hex AR 57/1.4.

The EF-M 28mm macro interests me, but I already own a Canon-mount Tamron 60/2 macro.

I sold my M3 and got the new M6. I love these EF-M cameras so much. I am trying to make 1 thread to unify all users of this mount, as each individual body doesn't have enough contributors.
