Another little fellow in the Bair Island in Redwood City, CA (HERE) (external link)

Would he be one of the Robinson brothers? ;)

Nice reflection as well as horizontal and vertical symmetry, but the whole composition comes off as too static for my taste. Also, I would like to have seen a bit more contrast in the water. That vast an expanse of dark middle gray does not do a lot to keep me interested.

Hopefully, it is a "personal taste" issue, and the next dozen posts really like it as is.

I like it. Great shot! I like the black and white for that picture...goes good with it. Also like how clear the reflection is. And yes...great symmetry.

I really like this. For this shot, I prefer a tight crop to really eccentuate the symmetry. Nicely done Califfoto

I like the tighter crop. I also would like to see it in color - I'll bet the the blue water is pretty.

Thanks again guys for the comments and edits.
Alan, I really love how you cropped the shot. However, the "zoom-in" effect of the crop completely changes the message. With the original version I see the "Space", with the cropped version I see the "Symetry".
This is a great and instructive discussion.
Looking forward to read more comments and see more crops.
