They look pretty good to me. Maybe knock down that gray triangle on the hood in #2?

I actually like the glass there as well. Without it, that corner of the photo would be empty. I think it balances it out. Nice stuff.

your interior shots on your webpage are amazing.

but here in #1, that closest glass that's out of focus detracts from the overall image for me.

could you have gone wider and shown the treatment on the ceiling? I'm curious about the red thing but we only see a small bit of it.

if i had gone wider i would have gotten too much of the foreground table in. It wasnt as appealing and kind of lost the effect o was going for where youre at the restaurant.

+1 for the glass. It anchors the photo, draws your eye in and then it follow to the back. Great composition. Your client is right.
