I’ve been home from Patagonia for a week and have finally started going through my pictures. This one was taken after hunkering down for four days of rain. As the sun came up we were treated to this, a spectacular sunrise that lit up Mount Fitz Roy. Before the rain hit there was some amazing fall colors to the trees but the rain in El Chalten was snow up here and it covered all of those warm colors in a cool blanket of snow.
