I am a Canon shooter and was looking for a light walk around. The nearest thing I could find interesting enough to shoot was a nearby construction site where a parked bulldozer was.
Wow, I am impressed. These are just JPGs but looking forward to trying out RAW.
My only complaint is that the owners manual both the full online and the quick start guide in the package is a bit vague, but that is my only gripe.

Nicely seen on the bulldozer track, it's a cool perspective and framing.

Be careful, the Fuji X system will suck you in. Once I can get a 400mm prime and macro lens for my X-T1, I'll probably be selling all my Canon DSLR gear. I love having the X100T with me all the time to shoot whatever catches my eye.

I am going to try some Jpg vs Raw test shots but I think for properly lit situations jpg should be fine.

The jpeg's the x100t produces are very good, and I think you'll be happy with them. I've heard some people complain that Lightroom doesn't handle the trans X raw images well and, while I agree they are a little more challenging to work with than Canon, you can get more out of them, and I like my results with Fuji raw better than my Canon images, overall.

Quick question, what version of LR is able to read X100T files? I have an early version of LR5 and it's not reading the RAW or jpegs. I'm being offered to update to 5.5, which I haven't done yet, but on the change log doesn't show support for x100t.

I can only confirm 5.7 supports x100t, since that's the version I was on when I got the camera.

Nice pic! What are the main differences between 5 & 6? I looked at the description and only thing I see is panorama, face recognition, and a few other features that don't really help with work flow.

I just updated to 5.7 and was able to work on the files.

LR6 has built in HDR and photo merge, plus you can now spot delete areas of a radial or graduated filter mask. I am sure there are more but those are the two that come to mind.

The first shot with the hot rod is HDR in LR6
