Apr 23, 2015 20:40 | #3 Nice capture. I was out a couple of nights ago and caught two in one...one is pretty faint. Cloud cover last two days so no luck there. Image hosted by forum (724337) © CatchingUp [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff. Tony

Lyrids Meteor Shower - AD 2015 - 01 You can see Vega... and not much else! I didn't notice any meteors until post: IMAGE LINK: http://www.ipernity.com/doc/diamantstudios/37863012 Lyrids Meteor Shower - AD 2015 - 02 In case you don't wanna play Find Wally: IMAGE LINK: http://www.ipernity.com/doc/diamantstudios/37863016 Lyrids Meteor Shower - AD 2015 - 03 Full album 'The success of the second-rate is deplorable in itself; but it is more deplorable in that it very often obscures the genuine masterpiece. Apr 24, 2015 21:19 | #6 Partly overcast, I have over 700 shots to go through. Didn't see anything on the animation tests, which will usually show me if I caught something. (2 edits in all) | Apr 26, 2015 12:48 | #7 I was taking subs of the North American Nebula on Thursday night. I was still working on getting the aim right and dialing in the exposure when this BEAST of a meteor shot right through my frame! It was the brightest one of the night to the naked eye; can't believe my luck that the camera was pointed in that direction. I was just taking another look at that particular image when I brought it into Photoshop. After a little stretching I'm amazed to see I actually caught some orange exhaust trails spiraling around its path!

Dave I did, not sure whether it's a satellite or not... certainly couldn't see it with my eyes next to that big boy!
