This is my third trip to Big Bend National Park in the past three years. It was overcast the whole time and the pics lack some of the great lighting from my last two trips. But heck, the place rocks. Pretty much once in a lifetime in terms of the flowers. We had a great, wet Spring and the desert exploded with color. Hope you like 'em and C&C taken in stride!
1) 50 mm-ISO 800-1-200 sec at f - 11
2) 60 mm-ISO 400-1-400 sec at f - 11 ==> Other side of The Window
3) 22 mm-ISO 800-1-80 sec at f - 10
4) 24 mm-ISO 200-1-125 sec at f - 16 ==> South Rim is stunning every time
5) 24 mm-ISO 200-1-100 sec at f - 16
6) 22 mm-ISO 800-1-400 sec at f - 14 ==> Didn't listen to Big Don and went backroads with stock tires. Popped a flat 26 miles from the nearest anything. Earned my Man Card that afternoon.
7) 10 mm-ISO 1600-1-500 sec at f - 16 ==> Almost total solitude for this sunset in a little known pull-off.
8) 28 mm-ISO 800-f - 9.0 ==> Drive North, out of the park on the way to Fort Stockton. Pulled over for this sunrise shot. Debated the barbed wire, but rather like it in the image. HDR on this one.
