A few of my classmates (who then fell in love, and are now married) asked me to shoot their wedding. Seeing as otherwise they weren't going to have a photographer and that I was doing it as a favor, I did it. I've never really considered doing weddings. That being said, I would love some C&C on what I have here!

I'll be posting more to my flickr later and will share the album if folks are interested. I am still trying to find my "style".
Thanks

Did you shoot RAW? I like the second one, with its leading lines, but their faces are in the shadows. A lot could be done in post to fix it if you shot RAW. In the third one, I don't like that they're centered. You could have been positioned further right, shooting down the line of the bridge/fence, forming a leading line towards them.

I did shoot in RAW, I am dealing with finals and the new Mrs. was getting antsy haha. I plan to go back and do another edit. I was just tired of hating what I had come out with so far and this is where I landed.

If you don't mind, email me a couple RAW files, let me see what I can get out of them.

For a first wedding as a favor...I think they're very nice.

I think you should keep at it!

A few tips for the future.
1. Don't cut parts of people off
2. avoid tilt. nobody likes it
3. Be very very careful when using ultra wide lenses on people are they tend to stretch them and ladies don't like it.

Great job! I might think about trying more shots with a faster aperture, clean up the busy backgrounds a little. Great first wedding though.

Nice job ^_^ I love the color tones, the compositions and the facial expressions that you caught. Really nice that you photographed your classmate's wedding as a favor :)
