Very dramatic image. I like it.

I am always amazed at how much clouds add drama to the images. Coming from San Jose area we never get clouds, and our skies are boring. While I wont complain about our weather, I do think a few clouds in the sky would help local photographers.

We are blessed here in Maine with ever-changing and dramatic skies. I'm sure there are so many beautiful things out there in San Jose. The key is to compose the image carefully and find that beauty where it exists.

Clearly this area is remarkably beautiful, from the giant redwoods, to the amazing beaches, the mountains, and the city scapes. There is no lack of things to take pictures of. Just, when you see something you dont have, you feel it immediately. The dramatic sky in your image is very difficult to come by here. For me it makes your picture all the more impressive. You can use the sky as part of your composition, while I mostly use the sky to frame my image.

Great shot! I like how it all came together - fantastic clouds and scene.

I agree, Cali has lack luster clouds- one thing I miss from the Midwest! Great shot, I too love the shot!
