So today was a break from the little heat wave we've been having here in ny ,, so we decided to take some photos at white stone Park ,,Girl friend got herself together .. spent a little time doing her hair.. casual but nice..

However the wind decided to mess with us.. Hair was all over the place, she was not a happy camper .. but a good sport anyway

Canon Powershot G16, doesn't need HSS
F4, 1/640s, ISO 100, using built-it ND filter (to bring down aperture to F4)
Canon 580EX, Nissin 622, Yongnuo 460, all at half power, triggered by Aputure trigger
White shoot through umbrella
Background under-exposed by around 1-2 stop (didn't remember)
Straight from camera

well done

one comment would be that given the slightly brighter exposure of the skin on the arms on chest, I would try and bring the face exposure up to match

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

thanks for the reply

as a fellow wedding photog, I might try and quickly reduce the redness in her arm if you think this is one of the pics that she will really like - alternatively, i might also give her a second crop just above the waistline of her dress to avoid the crop at her right wrist

well done

All valid points. This is from the sneak peek copy. The final copy was more refined and I shot several crops. :-)
