From a previous session:

Fuji X-T1 with a Rokinon 50mm F1.2 wide open at F1.2
Had to use a 3 stop ND filter to even be able to do this, with HSS (due to F1.2 and base ISO 200)
OCF with ETTL & HSS is a Flashpoint R2 TTL Zoom LiOn in a 28" beauty dish at close range

Hey everyone, this is my first foray into HSS. I recently purchased a Godox X1-S transmitter, Godox speedlight, and 32" umbrella. My biggest complaint is the recharge time on the speedlight. Most times I have to wait 3-5 seconds between shots when shooting at 1/1, but I'm guessing that's to be expected when shooting at full power on a little speedlight :(

I'd love to hear any comments or tips on things I can improve. Obviously the background isn't the best, I was just excited to try out the new equipment so we setup in the front yard.

On the second picture, I'm just wondering how some people shoot with the sunset directly behind the subject without getting tons glow from the sun. It was also frustrating that I couldn't get autofocus to work when the sun was directly behind her head. I assume this is common and just a limitation of the sensor not being able to see through the sun's glow.

I'm excited to get out and shoot more with the setup!

One from a month ago. I need to get out and shoot more. Yes it is 1/250 but that's HSS mode for me as my sync speed is 1/125.

I must ask: what is that white line going from under her right bra down onto her right leg?

Foggy stop bath... maybe a light leak in the dark room.

More likely.. developer not agitated while paper was soaking in the soup.

Looks to me like an imbalance in color temp. You can see the shadow area of her hand and jacket, which is warmer than light from the flash.

Maybe some white paint was applied for another shoot before this one and not cleaned well.
