Very nice, handyhaver!

I'm enjoying my lens all the time, in fact, I store it mounted to my camera. Great shots.

Lookin' good Handyhaver, the 70-200 is one of my least used lenses (I'm trying to remedy that) but man it never disappoints as long as I do my job right!

Yes I can see this lense is going to be on my camera alot. The size is going to take some getting use to, and I'm going to have to practice keeping it steady at the long end, but I'm lovin it...............

Thank you for the kind words

Mark

Handyhaver, that's one of most beautiful bokehs I've ever seen. Looks like nature's stained glass. Very nice. I knew I bought this lens for a reason! ;)

This lens is very nice and sharp if used properly.

I was upset at first because I got spoiled using IS on my 300mm. Sometimes it takes me a while to get the shot without blurring the photo (especially at 200mm). I'm getting better and I think this is one of those "build your skills" lenses that you can learn a lot from. Really great build quality, USM, auto-focus, and bokeh.

Here is a shot I took today.

Even though I cant stand slow lenses, I still want one of these so badly. I hate having other priorities.

I went to a local park today and the horses were out and about. This big boy seemed to enjoy the attention I was giving to him.

Both images at ISO 125, f/8, 1/250s
First image @118 mm
Second image @ 200mm

Whenever I put this lens on my camera it's a whole other world. I love it.

I posted this same thing in a new thread also.

WOW! WOW! WOW!

I just got my EF 70-200 f/4 L (non-IS) Thursday night and yesterday was the first opportunity that I got to spend a few minutes with it. I upgraded from the EF 70-210 f/3.5-4.5 USM and while I enjoyed that lens quite a bit I have to admit that there is no comparison. The L is in an entirely different league. My keeper ratio went through the roof with this lens. Focus seems to be dead on, the color are awesome, and I am seeing things that I didn't see before. I am still going to do a full blown comparison between the two lenses sometime this week but for now I have to show this shot.

How far away do you have to be to take a picture like this when using the lens on 70mm?

Pretty decent portrait lens.
