Got my lens today here is my first photo ,to bad the background is a bit messy ,and the sun went away when i went to grab my camera.This has been cropped also

That's just a little curves adjustment, a little burning, and a mild amount of contrast. :lol:

I shot with a 430EX behind him to his left (1/4th power), and metered a stop underexposed. Add in the flash to balance the exposure and I think I nailed it!

No sharpening. I love this lens!

1st post here - I tripped upon this forum through a google search as I'm thinking of purchasing this lens. WOW! I had one lined up for 400 bucks a few months back, but I dropped the ball and haven't pursued since.

Joining this forum could be the most expensive thing I've done all week...:)
