Alien Bees & light modifiers

Hey all,

Is it possible to use 3rd party light modifiers with AB monos? Barn doors, gels, etc. I've got the speedring for my softbox, but the other stuff seems kinda pricey to buy from AB?

You have to use AB accessories AFAIK.

I'm sure if you're crafty you could make it work with some other brand, though. might not look as nice.

Yep. . . duck tape. When you consider the aggravation you are going to go through trying to make a decision and waiting for opinions, you will find AB's prices are fairly reasonable.
