What lenses to take to Galapagos Islands

AC? Well you all were traveling a few classes above me I did NOT have that particular problem!

I am hesitant to put these up after looking at others work but here are some taken from the Galapagos

Thanks for the comments, I was happy with the results of the breaching humpback since I was laying on the floor of a 12 foot zodiac in choppy water. One other thing I did right was take some garbage bags to drop the camera bag into if it looked like a rough water.

I'm leaving in two weeks for Ecuador (4 days including a side trip to the Mindo Cloud Forest) the Galapagos x5 days. Because it's not a photography tour I'm afraid we're going to be getting to the islands later than I'd like and end up with some pretty harsh overhead light. Did anyone use fill flash to get around this? I'm not sure if it's even allowed on the islands. I'm taking my 7DMkII w/100-400 II, 6D w/24-105 & probably my 100 f/2.8 mm macro.

You can't use flash on the Islands.
Try and get landed right a 6, that is the earliest you are allowed and has the greatest bird activity.
If the boat is air conditioned make sure your lenses are warmed up to the outside air before you start shooting. My first mistake foggy pictures.
I bought a 100-400 for the trip and it was worth it but you get so close that its only needed for BOF.
I took a bunch of garbage bags to put my camera bag in. If your touring around in a zodiac it can be wet. Also you will be doing wet landings, jumping into the water off of the Zodiac.
There was a type of hiking shoe that was also a sandal so you can jump in the water and not have to change into a walking shoe.
We were on a 80 ft boat so it got pretty rough. I consider myself to have good sea legs but needed to take Gravol for a couple of the night crossing.
If you are going to snorkel bring your own snorkel and make sure that it is a good length. You can end up in some pretty decent swells.
Enjoy its an amazing place.
Watch yourself in Quito or Guayaquil, keep to the tourist areas and if you go exploring leave the cameras behind.
In the rain forest you can use flash without issue.
