Right now there is a free download of CS2 products at Adobe. The fine print says that it is supported for "Mac OS X v.10.2.8–v.10.3.8, PowerPC® G4 or G5 processor."

Anyone running CS2 products (Photoshop, mainly) in 10.6.6 Snow Leopard? I've got a Mac Pro from 2010.

Excuse me, but you are mistaken. Because Adobe had to close the server, for security reasons, that supported PSCS2 activation, they published a registration number that will activate PSCS2 locally, without internet activation. While in effect this is a give-away, there is a clear notice on the site that the number can be legally used only by those who previously purchased PSCS2. FYI.

Also, CS2 was never very stable on supported OS versions. I would not bother trying on a OS they don't explicitly list as compatible.

If you can't afford to pay for Photoshop ($120/year with Lr), you might want to check out GIMP, the free open source image editing program.

From the Adobe site linked by LifePixel:
Only customers who legitimately purchased CS2 or Acrobat 7 and need to maintain their current use of these products may use the serial numbers provided during the download.

Whether you download it or not is up to you, but the policy of this board is to not promote or aid the pirating of software or the unauthorized use of photos not your own.
