NIce series, love the Lizard & the Ellies, but my all time fav animal is the Leopard, great capture, hiding in the reeds.

Thanks very much. I wish the IQ was a little better on that leopard shot. The sighting was totally unexpected and I was caught off guard. That was the 1st shot and I managed to adjust for more optimal IQ in subsequent shots but I like that one most of the series. He was super close. 100mm on a FF body uncropped.

Thanks. They were all taken with the 5D3 and 100-400 with the exception of the chameleon which was taken with the 24-105.

Thanks. I saw the chameleon on the side of the road while doing a walk near a small village. They seem quite abundant.

Awesome photos!

The chameleon and leopard shot are my favorite of the bunch, but I like them all. The leopard hiding in the reeds really portrays their elusive personality.

I've been to Rwanda a few times, but never made it over to Uganda. My wife has said it was beautiful on the few times she went.

Thanks very much. I've been fortunate enough to have made several trips to each. I think Uganda has the overall advantage in terms of wildlife and if English is your only language those with a more independent travel spirit will have an easier time getting around. If your interest is Gorilla trekking though it is hard to deny that Rwanda is the better destination of the two, especially for photography.
